Fernanda Dahlstrom is a Brisbane-based writer, editor and critic.
Fernanda’s feature articles and criticism have appeared in The Guardian, Feminartsy, Kill Your Darlings, Art Guide, Mascara Literary Review, Overland and Sydney Review of Books. She has also won and been shortlisted for a number of awards for short fiction and flash fiction.
In 2017, Fernanda completed a Masters in Writing and Literature at Deakin University, focussing on parental deception in memoir. In 2022, she was shortlisted for the Queensland Writers Centre Publishable Awards for her memoir-in-progress, The See-Saw.
Fernanda has experience in structural/developmental editing, copyediting and proofreading. A former lawyer, she has over five years’ experience as a legal website content editor and has also edited short fiction, novels, memoirs, art criticism, feature articles, blog posts and promotional material.
